To Add a Taper to an Extrude Feature
You can add a taper to an extrude if the section of the feature is a closed loop. You cannot taper an extrude if Thicken Sketch is selected. The Extrude tab must be open to perform this procedure.
1. Click the Options tab.
2. Select the Add taper check box.
3. Type a value for the taper angle from -89.9° through 89.9° in the box.
You can enable or disable the Add taper check box on the Options tab by setting the enable_tapered_extrude configuration option. Set the option to yes to enable the check box, or to no to disable it.
