To Intersect Sketches or Surfaces
1. Perform one of the following actions, depending on the items to intersect:
◦ Surfaces, quilts, bodies, datum planes, solid faces
Perform one of the following actions:
▪ Click > 
Intersect, under Type, click 
Surface, and then select the first surface, quilt, body, datum plane, or solid face to intersect.
Intersect, under Type, click Surface, and then select the first surface, quilt, body, datum plane, or solid face to intersect.▪ Select the first surface, quilt, body, datum plane, or solid face to intersect, click > Intersect, and under Type, click Surface.
Intersect, and under Type, click Surface.◦ Sketches
Perform one of the following actions:
▪ Click > Intersect, under Type, click 
Sketch, and then select the first sketch to intersect.
Intersect, under Type, click Sketch, and then select the first sketch to intersect.▪ Select the first sketch to intersect, click > Intersect, and under Type, click Sketch.
Intersect, and under Type, click Sketch.2. Hold down the CTRL key while you select the second sketch or surface to intersect.
3. Click
