About Other Round Creation Parameters
Some or all of the following creation parameters are available, depending on the geometry selected and the type of round you are creating:
Extend Surfaces—Round continues expanding on extensions of contact surfaces. Available only for edge rounds, and is switched off by default. When you create a new round set, the value of Extend Surfaces for the new round set is inherited from the active set. For example, if Extend Surfaces is switched on for the active round set, and if you create a new round set, then the Extend Surfaces is switched on by default for the new set.
Full Round—Converts the active round set to a Full round or allows a third surface to drive a surface-to-surface Full round. The Driving surface collector is activated if it is required. Click Full Round again to cancel full round creation. Available only if you select valid Full round references, a Circular cross-sectional shape, and the Rolling Ball creation method. Unavailable if you select Through Curve.
Through Curve—The radius of the active round is driven by a selected curve. The Driving curve collector activates. Click this button again to cancel Through Curve creation. Available only if you select valid round references, the Circular, Conic, or C2 Continuous cross-sectional shape, and the Rolling Ball creation method.
Chordal—Creates a round using a constant chord length. Available if you select a Circular, Conic, or C2 Continuous cross-sectional shape, and the Rolling Ball creation method.
