Multibody Design in Creo Flexible Modeling
Multibody design can be used in Creo Flexible Modeling.
Watch a video that shows use cases working with multibody models in Creo Flexible Modeling:
You can use some of the tools in Creo Flexible Modeling on the selected geometry of one body or multiple bodies, for example:
Move
Offset
Edit Round
Edit Chamfer
Recognition tools to recognize rounds, chamfers, and patterns
When the geometric references originate from different bodies, the resulting geometry is calculated and attached to the respective originating body. This per body calculation also applies to tangency control and multiple solution options.
You can use some of the tools in Creo Flexible Modeling on the selected geometry of only one body, for example:
Mirror
Flexible Pattern
Remove
However, you can use pattern and symmetry propagation methods in supporting features to propagate changes to pattern and symmetry members across different bodies. In addition, you can perform searches within all or selected quilts and bodies from the Geometry Search Tool.
