To Create a Datum Plane

You can create datum planes and axes.

1. Click Insert > Draft Datum > Plane. The DRAFT SYMS menu appears.

2. Click Datum.

3. Draw a line indicating a datum plane by picking the start point and endpoint.

4. Type a name for the datum plane.
