Setting Up Drawing Setup File Options
Creo Parametric saves drawing setup file options with each individual drawing and drawing format. These setup options determine the height of the dimension and the note text, text orientation, geometric tolerance standards, font properties, drafting standards, arrow lengths, and so on. They are given default values, but you can modify them to customize a drawing and save them to be used in other drawings. The drawing setup file values are saved and retrieved in a drawing setup file named filename.dtl. The file specified in the drawing_setup_file configuration option establishes the default drawing setup option values for any drawing created during a Creo Parametric session. If you do not use this option, the default drawing setup option values are provided.
To work with the drawing setup file, click Settings > Setup File. You can edit a drawing setup file using either Pro/TABLE or the system editor.
