About Closing a Gap in a Silhouette Curve
The Gap Closure tab allows you to close the gaps in the silhouette curve. This helps you to create a silhouette curve that is used as a parting line for Skirt Parting Surface creation. When a silhouette curve has a break, a small gap, or short almost vertical edges due to inaccurate geometry, you can manipulate the curve and close the gap. The two endpoints of a gap are aligned to close the gap. Following are the three methods of aligning the endpoints:
• The lower endpoint is moved to align with the upper endpoint
• The upper endpoint is moved to align with the lower endpoint
• Both the endpoints are aligned with the non-existing mid-point
The gap can also be left open.
