About the Requirements to Run Batch Mode in PTC Windchill
To perform Creo ModelCHECK Batch mode tasks in the Windchill environment, you must ensure the proper installation and configuration of the following components:
Creo Parametric
Creo ModelCHECK
Creo Distributed Batch
Windchill PDMLink, or Windchill ProjectLink
Refer to the Creo Parametric-Windchill compatibility matrix, and Windchill-Creo Parametric Compatibility Roadmap for the current supported versions.
Creo ModelCHECK is installed by default with Creo Parametric. Creo Distributed Batch standalone is an optional component that is not installed by default. You must ensure the proper installation of Creo Distributed Batch and use the Start > All Programs > PTC > Creo Parametric > Creo Distributed Batch shortcut to start the Creo Distributed Batch client. Choose the model files to process using the Creo Distributed Batch client.
Creo Distributed Batch uses your credentials when you register the Creo Distributed Batch client with the Windchill server. You must use Tools > Server Registry to register the server using the same process as Creo Parametric. Use the Windchill user specific for the batch process. If the Windchill-Creo Parametric environment is in use, you must ensure that it is properly configured.
You must create a Creo ModelCHECK task group in Creo Distributed Batch and configure the task group. Select the appropriate configuration files to use and specify the location for the processed files. Browse the Windchill commonspace or workspace from the Creo Distributed Batch client and retrieve the objects to process.

Creo Distributed Batch cannot list CAD Documents recursively.
