To Place a Symbol using Repeat Mode
To create multiple instances of a symbol with the selected settings, perform the following steps:
1. On the Annotate tab, click Symbol. The Symbol tab appears.
2. Do one of the following:
Click Repeat Mode, select a symbol, and apply the required settings.
Select a symbol, apply the required settings, and click Repeat Mode.
The Symbol tab remains active while placing the symbol.
3. Middle-click to place the symbol. Immediately after placing a symbol, the symbol is attached to the pointer for the next placement. Select a reference and place the symbol. You can follow this method to place multiple symbols.
When you are in the repeat mode, you can also do the following:
To change the placement mode, select a different placement mode and continue placing the symbol.
Choose a different symbol in the Repeat Mode. The placement type switches to the default, automatic placement mode. However, you can choose a different placement mode.
4. To stop placing new instances of a symbol, middle click in the graphics window or click Cancel in the Symbol tab.
