To Create a Leader Note
To create a note with a leader, do the following:
1. Define the active annotation orientation before creating the first annotation in any session.
2. Click Annotate > Annotations > Note > Leader Note. A text box with a leader appears with its arrow head on the pointer. The text box moves with the pointer.
3. Click to select a reference object. The text box is attached at the selected point by its leader. To create leader notes, see the instructions that follow:
Normal leader note—Move the pointer until the guide appears. The leader of a normal leader note is normal to the selected reference, such as an edge or a curve.
Tangent leader note—Move the pointer until the guide appears. The leader of a tangent leader note is tangent to the selected reference, such as an edge or a curve.
Note with a standard leader—Move the pointer to any suitable location.
