Unvalidated Annotations
When start up GD&T Advisor on a model for the first time and that model includes
annotations that have been created with the native Creo annotation tools (i.e., not created from within GD&T Advisor), this dialog provides the following options:
• Delete All — All annotations are deleted. Select this option to start GD&T Advisor with a ‘clean’ model.
• Validate All — The application attempts to validate the unvalidated annotations to GD&T Advisor annotations by automatically creating functional features based on the surface references of the annotations. If there is a problem validating an annotation, it is listed in the Manage Annotations window, along with the reason for the failure. Note that this function requires the GDT_ENTERPRISE license option. If that license option is not available, this button is replaced by Ignore All.
• Cancel — The operation terminates and GD&T Advisor will not start up.
