To Edit a Classic Groove Turning NC Sequence
1. Right-click the Classic Groove Turning sequence in the model tree and click .
2. On the NC SEQUENCE menu that appears, click Seq Setup to change the tool, site or coordinate system if required or proceed to step 3.
3. On the NC SEQUENCE menu, click Customize.
4. Select Automatic Cut from the drop-down list in the Customize dialog box, and click Insert.
5. The INT CUT menu appears with the TURN PROFILE command selected. Select or create a turn profile.
6. The EXT DIR menu appears. Specify the cut extensions and click Done.
7. If you have not defined the stock boundary, click the Stock Bound command on the INT CUT menu and specify the stock boundary.
8. You can use the other commands on the INT CUT menu:
Ends—Extend or trim the ends of the cut section. Turning extensions will be applied to the adjusted ends of the cut section, as specified.
Corners—Specify the corner conditions, if desired.
Stock Allow—Specify local stock allowances, if desired.
Parameters—Adjust the cut motion parameters, if necessary.
9. Click Done Cut. Creo NC creates an Automatic Cut and a Follow Cut motion.
10. Create additional approach and exit motions, if needed, by selecting the appropriate options from the drop-down list in the Customize dialog box.
11. When satisfied with the tool path, click OK.
12. On the NC SEQUENCE menu, click Done Seq.
