To Create an Operation
You have to create an operation before you can start defining NC sequences. When creating the operation, the required elements are the machine tool name and the Program Zero coordinate system.
1. Click > 
Operation. The Operation tab opens.

2. If you have set up work centers prior to creating the operation, their names appear in the list box next to

and select a coordinate system. After the Program Zero is defined, the name of the coordinate system appears in the collector, and is highlighted in the graphics window.

If you have set up your work center with two spindles, click in the collectors adjacent to Main Spindle and Sub Spindle and select a coordinate system each for the two spindles. You can have a work center with two spindles but you may choose to use only one spindle. However, if you choose to use machine on both the spindles, you must set a coordinate system for the sub spindle. The default spindle is the Main Spindle.
5. Set optional elements for operation setup using the following tabs:
