To Create a Ramp Exit Tool Motion
With this tool motion you can make the tool exit a tool motion at an angle out of the cut.
1. On the Trajectory, Face, Profile tab, or the tab of any turning step, select Ramp Exit in the Tool Motions list. The Ramp Exit dialog box opens. The dialog box contains the following options:
2. Reference cut collector—Displays the referenced cut name.
3. Exit Distance—Enter a value to set the length of the exit move.
4. Exit Angle—Set the angle at which the tool exits in the plane of the cut.
5. Ramp Angle—Set the angle at which the tool exits the cut.
6. Click Parameters to edit the tool motion parameters using the Edit Parameters dialog box.
7. Click OK to create the exit motion, or click Cancel to cancel.
