To Activate a Subassembly in an NC and CMM Assembly

Manufacturing > Manufacturing > Manufacturing Process > Activating a Part or Subassembly in an NC or CMM Assembly > Subassembly > To Activate a Subassembly in an NC and CMM Assembly

1. Select the subassembly from the Model Tree or graphics window, right-click and choose Activate from the shortcut menu. Alternatively, select the subassembly from the Model Tree or graphics window, click Manufacturing > Operate > Activate. The Model tab opens.

The activated subassembly is indicated by the

button in the Model Tree.

2. Use the features on the Model tab to modify the subassembly.

3. After you have modified the design part, you must activate the main assembly to continue working.
