Selecting a Mill Window for Face Milling
When creating a Face milling NC sequence, you can select a Mill Window as a machining reference. This Mill Window is mutually exclusive with the surfaces you select using the Machining References option on the References tab.
Note the following points for using a Mill Window:
• The cutting tool always moves to the outside of the mill window in the direction of the cut.
• The geometry inside the mill window is taken into consideration for Face milling. If the window depth is greater than the high point on the reference model, the high point is used as the depth for the facing step.
