Defining Fixture Offsets
Fixture offsets are assigned in the manufacturing order of the pattern and the pattern’s design order. To set an automatic fixture offset, you must first define an initial fixture offset and define an increment to the initial fixture offset to set the offset for other pattern members. When you define an initial fixture offset, the minimum value for the offset register is 1. You can specify only integers as values. Similarly, when defining an increment, the default increment value for the fixture offset is 1.
You can also set the fixture offset by defining the value in the pattern table. When you convert the pattern to a pattern table, default fixture offsets are assigned using the defined rules for pattern order and fixture offset. The fixture offset is output when you generate CL data output for a pattern member as a single tool path or as part of an operation.
