Generate Designs using Generative Design Extension
After you completely define the study, you can send it to Generative Design Extension and generate multiple designs. You can explore and compare these designs, choose the one that suits your requirements, and then send it back to Creo Parametric.
To open Generative Design Extension in the Creo-embedded browser, you need to set the configuration option windows_browser_type to chromium_browser.

Before you send the study to Generative Design Extension, we recommend that you perform topology optimization in Creo Parametric.
To Send a Study to Generative Design Extension
To send a study to Generative Design Extension, do the following:
1. Click Send to Cloud. The IMPORTANT DATA TRANSFER NOTICE dialog box opens.

This dialog box opens each time you send a study to Generative Design Extension. To stop displaying this dialog box, set the configuration option gdx_controlled_data_disclaimer to no.
2. Click OK. The dialog box closes and Generative Design Extension opens in the Creo-embedded browser.

In Generative Design Extension, the Max. iterations value is fixed and set to 2000.

To Explore the Designs in Generative Design Extension
To explore the designs that you have already generated using Generative Design Extension, click Explore Study Designs. Generative Design Extension opens in the Creo-embedded browser.
