Configuration Options
Use the following configuration options to specify local topology optimization settings. The values of the configuration options define the default settings for options in the Generative Design Options dialog box. An asterisk indicates the default.

Set to yes to automatically start local topology optimization as soon as the study is fully defined.
When set to yes, the Start optimization automatically check box is selected by default.
generative_refresh_interval
Type a value for seconds

Set the frequency in seconds of the preview refresh rate for the analysis in progress.
Sets the value for Refresh interval.
generative_number_cores
Type a value for the number of cores
0*
Set the number of CPU cores to use during generative computations.
If the value is 0, the number of cores is managed by the system.
Sets the value for Cores to use.

Cores to use displays the value set in the configuration option. However, if that value is larger than the maximum supported cores, only the maximum supported cores on the user hardware are used.
generative_final_fea
yes*, no
Set to yes to perform higher fidelity FEA on the generated optimized result.
For more accurate results, run the FEA in the Simulation application.
Sets the value for Perform final simulation pass.
Use the following configuration options to set the animation speed and scale. The values of these configuration options define the default settings for options in the Animation Deformation Settings dialog box.

The valid values range from 0.25 to 10.
The default value is 1.
Specifies the animation speed for the FEA deformation.
Sets the value for Speed.
generative_ animation_scale
The valid values range from 1 to 20.
Specifies the animation scale for the FEA deformation.
Sets the value for Scale.
