To Define a Custom Background Color
1. Click File > Options. The Creo Parametric Options dialog box opens.
2. Click System Appearance.
3. Click the Graphics node.
4. Click the color button next to Background. A color palette opens.
5. Do one of the following actions:
Select a color from Theme Colors. Alternatively, click More Colors and specify a color using the Color Editor dialog box.
To define a gradient for the background do the following.
1. Click Gradient. A list is displayed.
2. Clear the No Gradient checkbox. The More Gradients button becomes available.
3. Click More Gradients. The Blend Colors dialog box opens.
4. To change the top or bottom background color, click the appropriate color sample button to the left of Top or Bottom respectively. The Color Editor dialog box opens.
5. Specify a new color. The color sample button changes to the new color. The new background color gradations that you selected appear in the preview window.

If you want to have the backgrounds of windows with 3D objects automatically update as you change background colors, make sure that Dynamically update model window is selected. This is the default option.
6. Click Close. The Color Editor dialog box closes.
7. Click OK in the Blend Colors dialog box.
To remove the background gradient, click Gradient and select No Gradient checkbox.
6. Click OK in the Creo Parametric Options dialog box.
