Displaying a Child View
You can display a child view that is not in the same sheet as that of the parent view.
Consider the following two drawing views:
Drawing view name
Drawing sheet name
Relation
VIEW_TEMPLATE_1
First
Parent view
VIEW_TEMPLATE_2
Second
Child view
Perform the following steps to display the child view:
1. Open the drawing sheet named as First.
2. Right-click VIEW_TEMPLATE_1 on the Drawing Tree and select Child Views. The Child Views dialog box opens.
3. In the Child Views dialog box, select the child view to display. The icon appears.
4. Click . The drawing sheet named as Second opens displaying the child view.
