Snapping Guides

You can display snapping guides when you sketch draft geometry using the modern sketch commands.

You can display the snapping guides in the following ways:

• Click Sketch > Settings > Snapping Guides

• Click File > Options > Detailing and click the snapping guides buttons.

You can also use configuration options to display the snapping guides.

The following table contains the configuration options that control the guide display:

Parallel guide	dwg_sketch_parallel_guide
Perpendicular guide	dwg_sketch_perpendicular_guide

Tangent guide	dwg_sketch_tangent_guide
Coincident guide	dwg_sketch_coincident_guide
Diagonal guide	dwg_sketch_diagonal_guide

Snapping Settings

You can specify the snapping behavior for sketching draft geometry.

To specify the snapping behavior, click Sketch > Settings > Snapping Settings and select the check boxes.

The following table contains the configuration options that control snapping behavior:

Snapping sketched entities to model geometry	dwg_sketch_snap_to_model_geom
Instant snapping when sketch cursor is placed next to geometry	dwg_sketch_instant_snap_to_geom
