Working on Dimensions with Center Leader Configuration
After you change the dimension configuration to center leader, you can adjust the position of the dimension to any angle in the 2D Drawing mode.
You can move the dimension text with the help of its dragger. You can drag the center leader along with the dimension text using the center dragger. When you try to place the dimension text close to the center leader line, the center leader snaps to the center of the dimension text boundary box. The center leader always appears next to the dimension leader line that is opposite to the witness line of the dimension. You can move the dimension text to the opposite side if required.
You can drag the dimension text to modify the length of the leader and move it to either side of the leader.
When you drag the dimension text, the position of the dimension line is preserved. Additionally, the attachment point of the leader, as well as the elbow length is preserved unchanged.
You can adjust the position of the leader only in the drawing mode. The position of the text automatically flips when you use the center dragger to move the leader in the horizontal direction.

You cannot change the attachment point of the center leader dimension on the original dimension leader line. The attachment of the dimension always remains at the center of the dimension leader line.
You can select the center leader, right-click and click Arrow Style on the shortcut menu to modify the arrow style of the center leader.
You can skew a dimension with a center leader configuration. When you skew a center leader dimension, the current angle of the center leader is maintained with respect to the dimension leader line. The placement of the dimension text is also maintained with respect to the attachment point of the dimension with a center leader configuration.
You can snap the dimension with a center leader configuration in the following ways:
Snap the dimension leader to a snap line.
Snap the center leader note to a snap line.
When you move the dimensions to a different view, the dimension configuration is maintained.
When you modify a dimension with a center leader configuration, the dimension is updated in a manner similar to that of a linear dimension. The position of the dimension text is maintained with respect to the attachment of the center leader at the center of the dimension leader line.
When you clean up dimensions with center leader configuration, only the dimension leader line, its arrows, and witness lines are affected. The center leader maintains its current position with respect to the dimension leader line.
You can edit the attachment of a dimension with a center leader configuration. Editing the attachment recreates the dimension and the dimension resets to its default configuration. To edit the dimension attachment, select the dimension, right-click, and click Edit Attachment on the shortcut menu.
A dimension with the center leader configuration supports the following settings in the Dimension ribbon tab:
Value—Nominal Value, Override Value, and Tolerance Value Only.
Display—Basic, or Inspection, or neither of the two.
You can flip the arrow direction of the dimension with a center leader configuration.
When you modify the configuration of a dimension to center leader in 3D mod, the annotation plane does not change.
