To Set the Tolerance Display for Individual Dimensions
1. Select a dimension. The Dimension ribbon tab opens.
2. Select a tolerance format from the Tolerance list and specify values as follows:
For the Limits format, specify values in the Upper Tolerance and Lower Tolerance boxes.
For the Nominal and Plus-Minus formats, specify values in the Nominal Value, Upper Tolerance, and Lower Tolerance boxes.
For the Symmetric format, specify values in the Nominal Value and Tolerance boxes.
*
If you select the Symmetric format and select the Superscript option, the dimension tolerance value is aligned to the dimension text in such a way that it begins at the half-way point of the dimension text extending up.
Dimensions that are below dimension leader lines automatically adjust such that the corresponding text does not overlap with their dimension leader lines.
When tolerances appear, the system displays the default tolerance values in the lower-right corner of the graphics screen.
