To Move the Grid Origin

1. Click Sketch >

Draft Grid. The GRID MODIFY menu opens in the Menu Manager.

You can also click Legacy Sketch >

Draft Grid. The GRID MODIFY menu opens in the Menu Manager.

2. Click GRID MODIFY > Origin.

3. From the GRID ORIGIN menu, choose the type of entity to set the origin:

◦ Get Point—Selects a point to be the origin.

◦ Edge/Entity—Selects a point on an edge or entity.

◦ Default—Uses the default grid origin.

4. If you choose Get Point or Edge/Entity, select the entity to locate the origin of the grid.

You can locate the grid origin at one of the following places. Use View > Draft Grid on the menu bar, then click Origin on the GRID MODIFY menu.

• Sketched entity endpoint or center

• Sketched point

• Datum point

• Edge or curve vertex
