Displaying Cross Section Datum Planes
Using the Show Model Annotations dialog box that appears when you click > 
Show Model Annotations, you can display set datum planes in area cross-sectional views. Set datums that you display this way behave identically to those in other views; you can perform all usual detailing operations on them, including dimensioning.
