About Importing CDRS Models
CDRS is an Associative Topology Bus (ATB)-enabled format. You can import CDRS models or append them to parts in Creo applications to create IN features that are ATB-enabled.
The following import and append operations create ATB-enabled IN features:
• Importing CDRS models as new parts with > 
Open.
Open.• Inserting CDRS models as parts or features of existing parts using > > 
Import.
Import.• Assembling CDRS models as part components of existing assemblies with > 
> Assemble.
> Assemble.The resulting part files have a standard Creo part icon in the Model Tree, but the import features, which are CDRS IN features, are represented by the ATB icon.
