About Importing CDRS Models
CDRS is an Associative Topology Bus (ATB)-enabled format. You can import CDRS models or append them to parts in Creo applications to create IN features that are ATB-enabled.
The following import and append operations create ATB-enabled IN features:
Importing CDRS models as new parts with File > Open.
Inserting CDRS models as parts or features of existing parts using Model > Get Data > Import.
Assembling CDRS models as part components of existing assemblies with Component > > Assemble.
The resulting part files have a standard Creo part icon in the Model Tree, but the import features, which are CDRS IN features, are represented by the ATB icon.
