To Restore a Missing TIM Component Using Check Status and Update
1. Open an assembly with one or more missing components in Creo Parametric with the Enable ATB option checked in the Import New Model dialog box or the import profile.
2. Set the atb_search_path configuration option to the directory or folder of the source file of the missing TIM component. For CADDS 5 models, set the extend_cvpath configuration option or the CVPATH environment variable.
3. Select the TIM part or assembly that displays the missing links icon in the Model Tree and click Model > Operations > ATB > Check Status or right-click and click Associative Topology Bus > Check Status. The missing links icon of the TIM part or assembly changes to the out-of-date icon.
4. Select the out-of-date TIM part or assembly in the Model Tree and click Model > Operations > ATB > Update or right-click and click Associative Topology Bus > Update. The Erase Not Displayed dialog box opens with a list of objects that will be removed from session after the update.
*
You can directly click Model > Operations > ATB > Auto Check Status on Update instead of using the Check Status command before you use Update.
5. Click OK on the Erase Not Displayed dialog box. The regeneration of the model begins and the component is up-to-date. Some features may fail to regenerate.
