About Simplified Representations in Process Assemblies
The use of simplified representations improves visual clarity and performance. They are used to simplify the process assembly by excluding or substituting components for all steps, or to simplify only the current step. You can also use a simplified representation of the design assembly when creating process assembly steps.
You can define a simplified representation in advance and then retrieve it when you create the process assembly model.

Components excluded from the simplified representation of the design assembly model are not displayed in the graphics window but do appear in the Model Tree.
