Mirror Operations of Inseparable Assemblies and Embedded Components
To mirror a part or a subassembly, select it in the Model Tree, right-click and select Mirror Component. The Mirror Component dialog box opens.
Mirroring an Embedded Part
A mirrored embedded part is created as a new embedded part. When you select Reuse selected model, the embedded part is reused even when it is not symmetric. When you select Perform symmetry analysis, and the part is found to be symmetric in the analysis, the embedded part is reused and positioned correctly even when Reuse selected model is not selected.

Mirroring a Subassembly with Embedded Components
Mirroring an embedded subassembly is similar to mirroring a regular subassembly with a few differences:
The structure of the subassembly remains the same. Embedded components remain embedded and non-embedded components are not embedded.
You cannot extract or embed components during the mirror operation.
You can reuse a component in the mirror copy, only when it remains in the same owner.
It is not possible to rename an embedded component.
When an owner of an embedded component is set to Reuse, all embedded components are reused. No other options are available.
When an owner of an embedded component is set to Mirror Geometry, all embedded components under it are set to Mirror Geometry. The only other option available for an embedded component under this owner is Exclude.

Saving a Mirrored Copy of an Inseparable Assembly
To save a mirrored copy of an inseparable assembly click File > Save As > Save a Mirror Assembly. Saving a mirrored copy of an inseparable assembly is similar to saving a mirrored copy of an assembly with a few differences:
The structure of the assembly remains the same. Embedded components remain embedded and non-embedded components are not embedded.
You cannot extract or embed components during the mirror operation.
It is not possible to rename an embedded component.
When using advanced mirror the following restrictions apply:
It is not possible to rename an embedded component.
When an owner of an embedded component is set to Reuse, all embedded components are reused. No other options are available.
When an owner of an embedded component is set to Mirror Geometry, all embedded components under it are set to Mirror Geometry. The only other option available for an embedded component under this owner is Exclude.
