To Create a Reference Datum Point for a Notebook
1. Click > 
Model Datum > 
Point. The Select Point Dialog box opens.
Model Datum > Point. The Select Point Dialog box opens.2. Choose one of the following options to place the datum point:

—Click in the notebook window to create a free point.

—Enter the X and Y values for the point's absolute coordinates.

—Select a point and enter relative X and Y value for coordinates to place the new point relative to the selected point.

—Click a point on an entity to set a point.
—Click a point on an entity to set a point.◦ 
—Click a vertex to place the point on the vertex.
—Click a vertex to place the point on the vertex.3. Click OK.
4. At the prompt, enter a name for the datum point and press ENTER or click
