Redefining Copy Geometry Features
Copy Geometry features can be redefined as follows:
• Rename a data sharing feature.
• Specify a default layer name for Copy Geometry features.
• Display reference status in the Model Tree.
• Update frozen external reference placement.
• Reroute references to implicitly copied edges and surfaces.
• Reroute Copy Geometry features to another Publish Geometry feature.
• Reroute Copy Geometry features to a level higher in the assembly than the level on which the feature was created.
• Include Copy Geometry features in local groups.
• Redefine a Copy Geometry feature to change it to an external Copy Geometry feature.
When you redefine a copy geometry feature, copied properties are not removed from the target model even when you clear the property’s check box.
