To Set or Change Configuration Options
You can set or modify configuration options for a current session or save them in the installation directory for future use.
1. Click > . The Advanced Framework Options dialog box opens.
2. In the Directory box select one of the following:
◦ The path to the configuration folder for your AFX installation, to set values for configuration options for your current and future AFX sessions. To customize paths that appear in the Directory list, set the environment variable AFX_USER_CONFIG_PATH. You can add one path or multiple paths separated by semicolons.
◦ Current Session to set values for configuration options that apply only to your current AFX session only.
3. Click

to open the current configuration directory in the file explorer.4. Click General for access to a list of general configuration options or Expert for access to a list of expert configuration options.
5. In either the General or Expert tabs, find the configuration option that you want to set.
6. Click the Value box next to the option and select or type the value. You can set values for multiple configuration options before clicking OK or Apply.
7. Click Default values if you want to set all configuration options in both tabs, back to their default values.
8. Click Discard changes if you want to discard the changes you made in the current AFX session.
9. Click Apply to apply your changes, OK to accept changes and close dialog box, or Cancel.
