Absolute Accuracy Is the Default
Absolute accuracy is the default setting.
User Interface Location: Click File > New.
Release: Creo Parametric 7.0.0.0
What is the benefit of this enhancement?
By default, Creo Parametric uses absolute accuracy instead of relative accuracy. Template files are adjusted so that new empty models are created by default with absolute accuracy. The default accuracy values are 0.00039 inches and .01 millimeters. Template files use the following naming scheme:
Absolute accuracy uses the new template files by default. The files use the suffix _abs.
Relative accuracy uses the existing template files. The files are renamed with the suffix _rel.
*
For multibody model design, absolute accuracy is strongly recommended.
