Using Flatten-Quilt Deformation
You can use Flatten-Quilt Deformation to perform the following tasks:
Flatten (unbend) curves, quilts, and bodies
Bend curves, quilts, and bodies
Use Flatten-Quilt Deformation to transform the body that lies in the vicinity of the flattened quilt to the source quilt. You can transfer datum curves from the source quilt to the flattened quilt using the Curves and Points option.
Consider the following restrictions:
Selected curves must reference the surfaces of the source quilt of the Flatten Quilt feature.
The body should lie in the vicinity of the flattened quilt and should not cross the boundaries of this quilt.
