Pressure Loads—Creo Simulation Live
You can create pressure loads on 3D model surfaces. A positive pressure load always acts opposite to the normal direction of the surface at every location, even if the surface is curved.
To Define a Pressure Load
1. Click Live Simulation > Pressure. The Pressure Load dialog box opens.
2. Specify a name for the load, or use the default name. Optionally click the color swatch adjacent to the Name box to change the color of the icon, the distribution, or the text displayed for the load.
3. Select the surfaces to which you want to apply pressure. Your selection appears in the References collector.
4. Enter a real number, arithmetic expression, or parameter name for the value of pressure in the Magnitude field.
5. Select units of pressure from the list or accept the default units.
6. Click OK to create the load and save it.
