Importing Simulation Live Studies from the Part-Level to the Assembly-Level
Use the Import Existing Simulation command to copy simulation studies that are created at the part-level, to the top-level assembly. To use this feature you must be working on an assembly model, for which you have defined part-level simulation studies.
1. Click Add Simulation > Import Existing Simulation. The Import Existing Simulations dialog box opens.
2. Select a part that has a simulation study defined for it. The name of the part is displayed in the Model field.
3. Select one or more simulation study from the Simulation Studies list.
4. Click OK. The selected studies are copied to the Simulation Tree. The name of the study is the original name of the study with _Copy appended to it. Right-click the copied simulation study, and then click Rename to rename the study.
5. Select a load or constraint from the Simulation Tree, and then click to modify the assigned loads and constraints.
