Conversion of Tensile Ultimate Stress from Wildfire 4.0 Models
In Wildfire 4.0 you can use the following two parameters to specify the value of the Tensile Ultimate Stress:
PTC_STRESS_LIMIT_FOR_FATIGUE for fatigue.
PTC_TENSILE_ULTIMATE_STRESS for failure criterion.
For a material defined in Wildfire 4.0:
In Wildfire 5.0, Creo Simulate deletes the PTC_STRESS_LIMIT_FOR_FATIGUE parameter. The value of the PTC_TENSILE_ULTIMATE_STRESS parameter is used as the value of the Tensile Ultimate Stress in failure and fatigue criterion.
If the values of the PTC_STRESS_LIMIT_FOR_FATIGUE and PTC_TENSILE_ULTIMATE_STRESS parameters are different, Creo Simulate displays a warning before deleting the PTC_STRESS_LIMIT_FOR_FATIGUE parameter.
If you have used only the PTC_STRESS_LIMIT_FOR_FATIGUE parameter in Wildfire 4.0, Creo Simulate creates the PTC_TENSILE_ULTIMATE_STRESS parameter in Wildfire 5.0 and assigns the value of PTC_STRESS_LIMIT_FOR_FATIGUE to PTC_TENSILE_ULTIMATE_STRESS.
