To Define an Interface Measure for Structural Analysis
This procedure assumes you have selected the Interface quantity on the Measure Definition dialog box.
1. Select a interface measure from the second quantity list.
2. If you select Force in step 1, select one of the following components: Magnitude, X, Y, Z.
3. For the components X, Y, and Z, select a coordinate system.
4. Select an interface to define the measure.
*
If you have selected a quantity in step 1 that is not valid for any interface in your model, you can not select any interface.
5. If you have selected Force as the interface measure type in step 1, select Component(s) or Surface(s) in the interface.
6. Review the Valid for Analysis Types list to determine which types of analyses are valid for the measure.
7. Click OK on the Measure Definition dialog box. The newly defined measures shows up on the Measures dialog box.
Return to To Define Measures for Structural Analyses or Interface Measures.
