2. Quick Access Toolbar
3. Graphics Toolbar
4. Group
5. Group Overflow Button
6. Tab
7. Buttons
8. Model Tree
9. Graphics Area
The following are the default tabs available on the ribbon:
Home—The default Home tab contains the Set Up, Operations, Loads, Constraints, Materials and Run groups in Native mode. In FEM mode the Mesh group is also on the Home tab by default. You can perform most of your simulations tasks with the commands on the Home tab. In integrated mode the button takes you back to Creo Parametric.
Refine Model—This tab contains the Idealizations, Connections, Regions, Datum, and Editing groups. In native mode the AutoGEM group is also on this tab. Use the commands on this tab to further refine your model and perform more specialized simulation tasks.
Inspect—This tab contains the Model Report, Measure and Inspect Geometry groups. Use the commands on this tab to inspect specific aspects of your model, such as its mass properties, or the length of an edge or the parameterization of a surface.
Tools—This tab contains the Investigate, Model Intent and Process Guide groups. The commands on this tab provide tools that support your other modeling tasks. You can generate textual descriptions of your modeling entities and create parameters and relations to be used when defining modeling entities and design studies. For more information on the Investigate and Model Intent groups in this tab refer to the Fundamentals Help.
View—This tab contains the Visibilities, Orientation, Model Display, Show and Window groups that allow you to view your model with different sizing, orientation, etc. For more information on the groups on this tab refer to the Fundamentals Help.
The following additional areas are provided on the User Interface:
Quick Access Toolbar—Provides a set of icons for some of the frequently used File menu commands like Open, Save, Regenerate, Undo, Redo and Close. You can customize the Quick access toolbar to add icons that you use frequently. To customize the Quick Access Toolbar, click File > Options and then click Quick Access Toolbar on the Creo Simulate Options dialog box.
Graphics Toolbar—The graphics toolbar provides a set of commonly used commands that you can use to change the way entities are displayed in the active window. It includes commands for changing the display size, zooming in and out, model orientation and controlling the visibility of different simulation entities.
The ribbon can be customized. Click File > Options to open the Creo Simulate Options dialog box. Click Customize Ribbon to select icons and groups to customize.
