Object Action Shortcut Menus
When you right-click simulation entities in the graphics window a shortcut menu appears containing the following commands:
Menu Item
Description
Simulation Feature
Simulation Object
Simulation Property
Preselection Options:
Previous
Pick From List
Next
Allows you to select objects or simulation features on your model. When you select Pick From List from the Preselection Options shortcut menu, the Pick From List dialog box opens listing all items. The selected item is highlighted in the graphics window.

When you right click a pre-selected simulation entity, either on the Model Tree or in the graphics window, a shortcut menu appears. The shortcut menu consists of some or all of the following commands. The commands that are available on the shortcut menu depend on the entity you select.
Menu Item
Description
Simulation Feature
Simulation Object
Simulation Property
Preselection Options:
Previous
Pick From List
Next
Allows you to select objects or simulation features in your model. When you select Pick From List from the Preselection Options shortcut menu, the Pick From List dialog box opens listing all items. The selected item is highlighted in the graphics window.

Edit Actions:
Edits a simulation entity, feature, or property.
Available
Available
Available
Edit Dimensions
Edits the dimension of a simulation feature.
Available
Edits or replaces the references of a simulation feature. You can edit or replace references of more than one feature at a time.
Available
Create a note
Opens the Note dialog box when you click Create a note > Feature. This dialog box allows you to create a model note for a feature.
Available
Suppress
Suppresses a simulation entity.
Available
Resume
Resumes a simulation entity.
Available
Copy
Copies simulation entity or datum curve geometry to create an identical definition of the copied entity. Right-click a simulation entity on the Model Tree or the model and select Copy. To paste the copied entity as a new entity, select Paste from the shortcut menu and click OK on the definition dialog box.
*
When you copy entities, the copied entities are placed on the clipboard. However, when you copy load or constraint sets, Creo Simulate automatically creates a copy of the load or constraint sets on the Model Tree without performing the paste operation.
Available
Duplicate
Duplicates a simulation entity.
*
Duplicate is available only for load and constraint sets.
Available
Hide
Hides a simulation entity or feature.
Available
Available
Unhide
Displays the hidden simulation entities or features.
Available
Available
Zoom Into
Displays the selected reference in the center of the graphics window.
Available
Delete
Deletes one or more simulation entities or features from your model.
You cannot delete combinations of entities that belong to the following groups:
Features
Properties
Mesh
Entities other than the above three
For example, you cannot delete a combination of a feature and a property.
*
Creo Simulate does not delete the properties that are associated with a model. For example, if you have selected beam sections that are used by a beam definition in the model, these beam sections are not deleted.

Erase
Erases a mesh from memory.
Available
Move Tag
Moves the display icon and text displayed for a simulation entity or feature. A leader line from the new position points to the actual position of the entity in the model.
*
Move Tag is available for loads, constraints, and mesh controls. For all other simulation entities Move Tag is only available when you select the Display Names check box on the Settings tab of the Simulation Display dialog box.
Available
Available
Reset Tag
Moves the display icon and text displayed for a simulation entity or feature to its original position on the model. Reset Tag is available only when you use Move Tag for an entity.
Available
Available
Convert to Thin Solid AutoGEM Control
Converts a shell pair to a thin solid AutoGEM control when the shell pair satisfies validation checks.
Available
Convert to Shell Pair
Converts a thin solid AutoGEM control to a shell pair when the thin solid AutoGEM control satisfies validation checks.
Available
Adjust Tangent Pairs
Adjusts the placement of the adjacent tangent shell pairs to match the placement of the selected shell pair.
Available
Rename
Renames a simulation entity or feature.
Available

Simulation Entity
Opens the Simulation Information window that displays information about a selected simulation entity. Click Information > Simulation Entity on the shortcut menu to open the Simulation Information window.
*
The additional Simulation Model command appears on the shortcut menu when you select a component or a top-level part or assembly on the Model Tree.

Promote
Moves the selected datum simulation feature into Creo Parametric so that it is permanently visible.
Available
Locate in Model Tree
Locates a simulation feature or an entity on the Model Tree when you select Locate in Model Tree from the shortcut menu on the model.
