About the Quilt Form User Interface
The Quilt Form user interface consists of commands, tabs, and shortcut menus. Click Sheetmetal > Form > Quilt Form to access the Quilt Form tool.
Commands
—Flips the material thickness direction.
—Flips the punch direction.
Tabs
References—Displays a quilt, or a solid body, reference in the collector.
Options—Displays the following options:
Exclude Surfaces—Collects sets of surfaces excluded in the punching by the quilt form punch tool.
Details—Opens the Surface Sets dialog box to add or remove surfaces from the punching process.

Nonplacement edges—Rounds any sharp edges created by the quilt form that are not on the placement surface.
Placement edges—Rounds any sharp edges created by the quilt form that lie on the placement surface.
Radius—Sets a value for the radius used for the rounding of the placement or nonplacement edges.
Inside—Dimensions the radius according to the inside surface of the radius.
Outside—Dimensions the radius according to the outside surface of the radius.
Remove referenced object—Removes referenced quilt or solid body.
Trim edges of sheared form—Apply a finishing operation to the formed part by removing excess material from its sloping side surfaces in order to align them with the original boundary edges.
Properties—Displays detailed feature information:
Name—Shows a default name for the feature.
—Shows feature information in a browser.
Shortcut Menus
Right-click the graphics window to access the shortcut commands:
Quilt Collector—Sets the quilt, or solid body, to use for the punch form.
Excluded Surfaces—Collects sets of surfaces that are not used in the punch.
Clear—Removes references from the active collector.
