To Extract a Model
1. Click 
Extract Model. The EXTRAC MODEL menu appears.

2. Click Extract.
3. Type a part name and press ENTER.
4. Select contiguous line segments and equipment components.
5. When you have finished, click Done Sel. The new merged part containing all selected components is now the active model.
The merged part overlays the original assembly component and may affect shaded display. You can place it on a layer and blank it.
6. Click Delete on the EXTRAC MODEL menu to delete the merged part.
