To Assign a Line Shape as a Default for New Line Segments
1. Do one of the following:
◦ Click 
Route Pipe and select the pipeline to route in the Model Tree.

Create Pipe and create a new pipeline. Create a new line stock or select an existing one from the list.

2. Click 
Environment. The Piping Environment dialog box opens.

◦ Straight—Creates straight pipe segments.
◦ Flexible with Free Length—The system determines the length of the flexible pipe segment.
◦ Flexible with Set Length—You specify a length for the flexible pipe after creating each segment.
The Free Length and Set Length options are available only when you have set Flexible in the LINE SHAPE menu.
4. Click OK or continue to configure additional options.
