Configuration Options for Multibody Models
The following configuration options are associated with multibody models.
boolean_default_operation
model_type*, add_bodies, merge, cut, intersect
Controls the default Boolean operation.
model_type—The model type determines the default Boolean operation. In an assembly, the default operation is Merge. In a part, the default operation is Add Bodies.
add_bodies—The default Boolean operation is Add Bodies.
merge—The default Boolean operation is Merge.
cut—The default Boolean operation is Cut.
intersect—The default Boolean operation is Intersect.
enable_multi_material_model
yes*, no
Controls whether a material can be assigned to a body.
yes—Material can be assigned to a body.
no—Material cannot be assigned to a body.
hlr_adv_interference_check_prt
yes*, no
Sets the default behavior for hidden line removal (HLR) for the intersected bodies in a part..
yes—Hidden lines for the intersected bodies in a part are accurately removed. This can result in slower performance.
no—Hidden lines for the intersected bodies in a part might not be accurately removed.
