To Rename a Chamfer Feature
You can rename the current chamfer feature while working in the Chamfer tool.
1. Select the references for the chamfer.
2. On the Model tab, click the arrow next to 
Chamfer, and click Edge Chamfer. The Edge Chamfer tab opens.

4. In the Name box, type the new name for the chamfer feature on which you are working and press ENTER.
5. When you are finished working with the chamfer feature, click 
. The system renames the chamfer feature, saves your modeling changes, creates the chamfer, and closes the Chamfer tool.
