To Create an Auto Round Feature
1. Click Model, click the arrow next to Round, and click Auto Round. The Auto Round tab opens.
2. To define the items to round, click the Scope tab, and select one of the following options:
All bodies—Edges of all the solid bodies in the model.
Selected quilts and bodies—Edges of the selected quilts and bodies. Then select quilts and bodies to round their edges.
Selected Edges—Selected edges and intent chains. Then select edges and intent chains to round.
3. To define the type of edges to round, on the Auto Round tab, select one or both check boxes:
Convex—All the convex edges, then type a value for the radius of curvature
Concave—All the concave edges, then type a value for the radius of curvature
4. To exclude specific edges from being rounded, click the Exclude tab, click the Excluded Edges collector, and perform one of the following actions to select edges:
Select edges in the graphics window
Select edges using the search tool. See To Select Edges Using the Search Tool.
Select edges using a datum reference and the graphics window. See To Select Edges Using a Datum Reference and the Graphics Window.
Select edges using a datum reference and the search tool. See To Select Edges Using a Datum Reference and the Search Tool.
5. To change the result of the auto round feature to be a round group instead of an auto round feature, click the Options tab, and select the Create Group of Regular Round Features check box.
6. Click OK on the Auto Round tab. The Auto-Round Player window appears, and the auto round feature is created.
7. In the Auto-Round Player:
To display each auto round member in the graphics window as it is being created, select Show each member.
To pause the creation of the auto round feature, click . Then these commands become available:
To create the auto round feature for all the auto round members that you selected, click Finish. The system completes regenerating the auto round feature and closes the auto-round player.
To interrupt the creation of the auto round feature before all the edges are rounded, click Interrupt. The system creates the auto round feature with the auto round members that were finished when you clicked Interrupt.

Interrupt and Finish are available only if you pause the Auto Round feature.
If you click Interrupt before the Auto Round feature is completed, and if no changes are made to features created before the Auto Round feature, then click Model > Regenerate > Regenerate to resume the Auto Round feature from where the feature was interrupted.
If you make changes to features created before the Auto Round feature, then regeneration of the Auto Round feature starts from the beginning.
You cannot convert interrupted Auto Round features to round groups.
