To Create a Solidify (Cut) Feature
1. Select the quilt, surface geometry, or datum plane to use to create a cut.
2. Click Model > Solidify. The Solidify tab opens.
3. To create a cut, click Remove material.
4. To select the bodies from which geometry is removed, click the Body Options tab and select an option:
◦ To cut geometry from all the bodies that the feature passes through, select All.
◦ To cut geometry from selected bodies:
1. Select Selected.
2. Click the body collector, and then select bodies from which to cut geometry.
5. To change the side of the quilt, surface, or datum plane on which to cut the geometry, click the direction arrow on the preview geometry, or click Tool direction on the Solidify tab.
6. Click OK.
