When you create a Creo Flexible Modeling feature, you must select the surfaces of the geometry that you want to move or modify. Select individual surfaces or surface sets before or after you enter a tool.

All procedures start with selecting surfaces. You can use the Shape Surface Selection buttons for efficiency. When you enter the tool, you can immediately begin to manipulate the selected geometry. You can also enter a tool and then select surfaces.
