To Create an Ellipse Using Ctr/Pnt/Ang
Ctr/Pnt/Ang creates an ellipse by picking the center, a point to locate the major axis, and an angle that rotates the geometry about the major axis.
1. Click Draft on the LEGACY DWG menu. The DFT CREATE menu appears.
2. Click Adv Geom on the DFT CREATE menu. The ADV DRAFT menu appears.
3. Click ELLIPSE > Ctr/Pnt/Ang.
4. Pick a point to be the center of the ellipse.
5. Pick the location of the major axis.
6. Specify an angle of rotation about the major axis.
The length of the ellipse along the major axis is twice the distance of the selected points.
1. Pick 1
2. Pick 2
3. Pick 3
